Alright, so I open Internet Explorer and it displays okay, except usually where it would display the number of new e-mails I've received (i.e. 1, 4, 7) there is just an unclickable -.(WHEN I HAVE NEW E-MAILS) Also, in the bar below the page, it has a little icon with a white sheet and a yellow triangle traffic sign and in it is a black exclamation mark. It says, "Error on page," next to it. I never had this problem before, and for a week now it doesn't seem to be going away. I double click the icon and it says that it is a Syntax error. (Whatever that means)

Any help you have in removing this problem would be much appreciated. Thanks.

It means the website has some error in the source code and IE feels like it needs to inform you. It's annoying.

I've never, ever gotten any kind of error like that at all from IE. And I think that you having a '-' for the number of unread e-mails means that noone likes you and you have no new e-mails (or friends)*.

These are not screenshots of my computer, I stole them, but this is what I get.

(Scroll down to "smeatz" second post and there will be two pics. BTW I have no idea what this site is, I just found it on google.)

So does that mean that the problem is not with my computer, or internet connection, but with the site itself?

There's an option somewhere to prevent it from making popups. Probably labed as "javascript debugger" or something. (edit: rereading, i guess you don't get the popups, just a little icon... nothing to worry about, it just lets you know something on the site broke so if a button isn't working, that may be why.)

It's usually the site, though you could cause them yourself by running js functions that haven't been downloaded yet, if your connection is slow enough.

I overlooked it. Sorry, its just I burned my pizza when I was really hungry. And then my Xbox froze, and now this freaking icon. I took offense. I apologize. Maybe we can unify our goal once more.

NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface
[05:34 pm]
NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

Oops, caught me there, no I haven't. :( I was imagining how the game went. Sorry for that. Watching it now. brb

NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
