Less of my friends still play Starcraft 1. So I startet my own mapmaking two weeks ago to create Coop-Scenarios. I like playing StarCraft on LAN-Partys but these events seems to be quite rare.

I'd love to play melee myself but the best way to improve is to play with people who are only a little better than myself but I don't think those exist anymore given my skill level.

The best place to find practice partners here might be on the discord although I don't think we have many good players.

If you're interested in making ums, you'll find some of our best maps in this thread. Most of the download links are dead but I think you can still find the maps under 'starcraft I files' or their corresponding threads. Those maps should provide guidelines to help you direct your time and attention to the things you need to improve most.
