Disabled/Enabled Unit/Sprites Test Map

Hey All,

These maps will allow you to enable/disable units, unit sprites and disabled unit sprites with a civilian. You can then order the units around, give them to yourself and turn on/off vision with the computer player.

Units that crash the game have a flag placed on them. In the Sprites-Disabled map if there is a flag where the unit should be that means you cannot place that unit sprite disabled.

I may eventually create a map with buildings as well.

I don't have a map for the buildings but almost all buildings can be disabled and enabled. For some (which is very few) you have to move it out of sight before enabling it.

The buildings that stand out the most are the Shield Battery, Stargate and Zerg buildings with low HP (bleed visible). The units that stand out the most are the Archon, Dark Archon and Carrier.

I have attached a few of my favorites.

Special thanks to Weed-4-(U)!

Thank you,
Bitz

Let me show you how to hump without making love.

This saves a lot of work since I heard a lot of new units were usable after the updates. Thanks!

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
