Try this in your registry, but change the path to where your staredit.exe is.

http://www.robvanderwoude.com/ddecommandline.php has more info on Windows DDE, and as far as I can tell, you can't replicate opening a map in staredit from the command line without using a third party tool like classexec.exe.

I manually changed all of the paths to staredit as mine is in a weird place, so if I missed one, please double check.
