Modify Spider Mines

Hello, I was wondering what the best way would be to edit the data for starcraft 2 spider mines, to make them more like Starcraft Brood War spider mines. The main thing I want to change is to make them commit to an attack when unburrowed, and follow the enemy however long it needs to.

Actually, after reading this thread (which went unsolved). It helped me find out the problem.

I had to change the Auto Cast range of the "Spider mine burrow" ability.

I still run into the problem that the spider mines do not continue to follow after a while. Any help is appreciated.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Re-order it to attack.

Use a persistent effect to establish a connection between the mine and its target.

I don't think you can change the follow range of idle units apart from changing it for all units as it is a part of the gameplay data settings.
