Still Napping

I have a strange obsession with trying to quantify and categorize things. So I'm going to give time travel stuffs a shot. This isn't about making your brain work faster, this is the actual manipulation of time or related abilities with time stuff things. SO LETS GO. Any person may alter the current timeline or change world lines.

Class I: Subject is able to communicate through or perceive time.
Examples: Phone Microwave, Future Diary, Retrorefractive Crystals.

Class II: Subject is able to halt, decrease, or increase the passage of time (not to a negative value or infinity).
Examples: Song of Time (played backwards), The Force, Time Dilation.

Class III: Subject is able to travel through time.
Examples: Akemi, Doc's DeLorean, Wormholes.

Class IV: Subject is able to manipulate all timelines and world lines or exist outside of timelines and world lines altogether; temporal omnipotence.
Examples: Q, Deus Ex Machina.

So... is this a hypothetical thing? Do we contribute to the list under the classes? Because you forgot the TARDIS.

I may add more, I was just going on what came to mind and tried to use real life examples wherever possible; so no, this can be used to classify real temporal phenomenon.

Who cares!

It has the world temporal in it, so it must be important.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings
