Haha I was reading it as "piser." Awesome.

Basically you create an image (or find one) and save it as a .tga or .dds file. Import that file into the map. Then in the map options where you can set the load screen image, select the imported image.

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

Use the Importer to import things into a map.

You can refer to these links as reference:

http://www.galaxywiki.net/Starter_Guide
http://www.galaxywiki.net/Importing_Custom_Icons

If you're talking about converting an image to a proper format, most image editing programs can convert to the necessary file type. You can also find stand-alone converters from a Google search.

Woah

That's the Korhal loading screen.

Go to the Map Properties, click on the "Loading Screen" tab, click on "Browse...", search for "loading-korhal", and select "loading-korhal.dds"

Oh. That's going to be a really small loading screen image. You should look for something closer to 1920x1080 or 1920x1200. Unless you don't want it to fill the screen.

Ultraviolet -- just sent you a message on Discord. I suspect you're probably trying to change unit speeds for units that don't use flingy.dat for movement (like any units that walk instead of hovering/flying). You can change their movement to flingy, but they unfortunately look more like they're gliding than walking when you do that.
[2026-7-12. : 7:31 pm]
Symmetry -- EE2, I've been using setdatfile successfully for units.dat and weapons.dat but the flingy changes don't seem to happen
[2026-7-12. : 5:25 pm]
Ultraviolet -- in EE2 you just open DatEdit, go to the flingy tab, and make whatever changes you want. Though if you want to do dynamic shit, you have to use the trigger editor with the setdatfile action. And of course you have to inject your changes when done. Can give more specific troubleshooting advice if you provide more details
