Gonna be honest here I'm pretty much a champ and I could probably beat every single SEN member combined into one brain power while playing blindfolded and being forced to make only 3 letter words... but if you DO play Words then hit me up with your username and we can have tons of lulz together!! (I'm not actually THAT pro) For those of you who don't know what this game is, go find out I ain't linking you shit you are a big boy you know how to use google, but if you are an avid-scrabble player (or even a crappy one) then I STRONGLY encourage you to go out and get this game (if you have the correct devices/facebook).

If you have something like:

C A T C H
E
L
L

you can replace the "c" with a letter such as "b" so that the words still make sense (batch and bell) AND then you get points for all the letters. really weird rule that (I don't think) ever existed in scrabble.

Triple letter and triple word requires at least four letters. You would need eight tiles to link two triple words together.

Did they change the board since I've played?

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
