Hi. Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

I can go through all the steps in various SC BW mod tutorials (i.e. mod the marine to give him shields) up to the use of MPQDraft. When I use either the "Load MPQ" or .exe, my screen re-sizes and goes into 256 color mode (as usual when I run Starcraft). However, the game fails to run, without any "error" prompts. After 30 or so seconds, my screen re-sizes back to normal.

Any tips? I'm using Windows 7 (Basic?).

You should post the mpq/exe so that we can look at it and see if there's anything wrong with it.

Good news! I fixed the problem.

Turns out I was using an older version of MPQDraft which was not compatible with Windows 7.
