Motivation For Teamwork on Maps. Many Map makers arent map makers because of the effort... They dont want to do it themselves... Many of them just want to just have the idea, then Start it off, but because of the redundancy of the trigger work, theres so many triggers, and then ontop of that the errors.... many of them just quit out.
I suggest making a clan.
US-East Has been missing a good Map Making clan with true map making skill.
The Clan which every US-EAST member knows.
The Clan that makes all of the maps that you see at the top of the list-
The epic clans that we once knew are Erroding away to the sands of time.
Age has taken over
These Legends and/or their skills with them are Passing off.
The Guild- DEAD
Clan (U) - Crippled
Clan xM - DEAD
Clan oo - Whatever skill they mightve had, is gone now.
Clan (o) - DEAD

This Clan Hit list is unnacceptable.
Most of us remember it... THe glory SEN once had... Well, I say let it relive it's glory days! Let it RIse once more!
Back when these Great Clans were alive... When they needed help, Who would they refer to?
SEN!!!!
When pesky armadas of people asking for help and guidance on their maps, where were they redirected?
SEN!!!!
When Anyone on the Entire Starcraft Battle.net had a Question that Related to Map Making... Where did they go?
Once again... SEN!!!!

We Are StarEdit.Net, and We Push Starcraft Maps To the LIMIT!!!!!

But in all seriousness... the once Great StarEdit Network is dying a slow and painful death... We are Evaporating away... and we need to do something fast.
The Recent Shut down has hastened the Decay of this Once Glory-Seeing Network. Not to mention, many of the great Map Makers are just plain... Stopping..... Stopping with map making.. Stopping with Starcraft in total.

Ill tell you one thing though....
I will not allow SEN to be forgotten.

Clan Oo isnt dead. Who told you that? (U) IS dead, they dont have a clan channel. xM isnt really dead, it was only Shocko and Isat all along. And clan Mp? The one you missed. Kickin'. If only lovel will finish his map with Mq3, and I finish mah zombie map, and Rune would work on Shadow Run 2, it'd be scary. But they dont post on sen <_<

I believe this already has been said, but we REALLY need a dldb. SEN's just one big shoutbox, as someone said, I forgot who. I remember back when my #1 mapping resource was SEN, and I still have a bunch of pro maps that I dl'ed from here, when I first discovered they existed.

To Pyro: that was a beautiful speech. Too bad it's probably not going to happen any time soon.

a DLDB would really help bring some people back to this site, but dont expect huge numbers... Maybe some, but its not going to have them flocking in by groups of 30

I didnt say Clan Oo is dead... I said whatever skill they had is gone now.

Oh, and I said Clan (U) is Crippled, because they DO have a clan channel, but its currently down... been down for about a week.
They haev joint clan Channels with Clan CHEF... Theyre basically the same entity... But its always inactive...
Hence, the "(U) - Crippled"

Damnit pyro i was liking your post until i saw it was just an add for a clan. instead of trying to get everyone to join a clan we need to make this a more involved community. What if we had Tournies or something?
