For now, there are two things which you can bet minerals on.

NFL Games

The schedule for all games can be found here.

The site I am currently using for the spread is BookMaker.

You can bet on a team to win, as well as bet on the over/under.

Basic Info

  • All bets must be exactly 21 minerals.
  • You must send the minerals before making a bet.
  • Bets can be placed via PM or posting in the thread.
  • Bets can be changed or canceled up until the game starts.
  • You can make as many simultaneous bets as you want.

A bet of 21 minerals will payout 41 minerals.

Details

Roulette

The site I am currently using to determine the outcome is Castle Casino.

The spins are done live and everyone can see them.

  • All bets must be exactly 20 minerals.
  • You must send the minerals before making a bet.
  • Bets can be placed via posting in the thread.
  • Bets can be changed or canceled up until notice is given.
  • You can make up to 2 simultaneous bets.

An even-money bet of 20 minerals will payout 40 minerals.

Details

I will give notice of which spin will be used to determine the results at least 30 minutes before the spin, unless someone who bet is online at the same time as me and wishes it to be done immediately.

Betting limits may increase over time, and prior notice will be given if other information (payouts, sites, etc) will be changed.

For easier access, the link to send minerals is here.

It shouldn't.

By the way, the first NFL game is tonight, Green Bay Packers vs New Orleans Saints @ 8:30 PM EST.

Master has given Dobby a doctorate! Dobby is free!

Not sure I like the way this works. Not that I don't trust you...but I don't trust you.

There is a rule against scamming, so trust isn't necessary. Not that there's any possible reason you could have not to trust me anyways.

Furthermore, these are both public events that are broadcast live. I clearly have no means of changing the outcomes.

@2:49 - The winner is 10 Black.

Payment sent to the winners.

Edit: I've just increased the payout for Roulette further. I will retroactively apply this to the previous games.

TheKeyToKilling, you have a 1 mineral credit toward a future bet.

Wouldn't the increase due to transfer fees also increase on the NFL gambling?

Sep 9 2011, 4:48 pm Azrael Post #10

Last night's game ended with Green Bay (42) winning against New Orleans (34). Bets on Green Bay win, and Over bets win.

Payments sent to the winners.

Attention patrons! All transfer fees have been eliminated!

Payout information has been updated accordingly. Odds and payouts are all now as good, or better, than they are in real life.

Not that it matters since transfer fees are no longer an issue, but no, since the two games are supposed to have different payouts.

Symmetry -- Man I wish we had this tech back in the day when people played ums lmao
[2026-7-16. : 6:28 am]
NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[2026-7-16. : 6:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor
[2026-7-16. : 2:28 am]
Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

Symmetry -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
