Relatively ancient and inactive

For those interested, HP stopped developing hardware for their Web OS Touchpad tablets, and they're currently selling for very little. $100 little. I ordered one off best buy; they're out of stock there now, but Amazon started selling their stock for cheaps. Here. If by the time you read this it's sold out there, go to the end of this thread to see if anyone's found another vendor still selling.

I haven't played around with it myself, but the reviews are good; if you have the spare money, and have been avoiding buying a tablet because of how expensive it is, I'd highly recommend buying this. It's hardware is better than that of the iPad 1 (though not iPad 2), and the operating system, Web OS, is supposedly very good. But not very popular, so HP's dropping the whole thing.

My friend picked one up just because. It's like everywhere I go someone mentions this. If I don't get one I think I'm going to be the only I know without one. I hear 'people' are going to pick up on OS development because a ton of people are gonna pick this up. I want one :(

I think this is reason enough to pick one up: http://www.touch-droid.com/

I ordered 2, one for me and one for the GF. Hoping they come and weren't over-ordered.

I loved how the port of webOS to ipad2 made it "2x" faster.

NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface
[05:34 pm]
NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

Oops, caught me there, no I haven't. :( I was imagining how the game went. Sorry for that. Watching it now. brb

NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
