Lord of the Locker Room

Then again, who plays SCI that hasn't heard of SEN?

The only reason I know of SEN at all is because I was linked to Baja posting about one of my projects on it/maplantis an extremely long time ago. Since then, I have had absolutely no connections coming from my side towards SEN, just back from it (I met some cool guys here/at maplantis, but no one on the other side of the modding/campaign community knows/cares about the site, especially since maplantis died).

Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

Just Here For The Pie

I'm fairly certain that most people haven't heard of SEN as they don't care about mapmaking.
Just as my research of yelling at people at GameStop has shown.

None.

👻 👾 👽 💪

Lots of people have whispering the SEN bot asking for hacks. I guess I could have added a script to respond to whispers with something like what I just saw Ex put on Excaliban ... but I didn't think of it until reading this topic. xD

There. Even though nobody's whispered the bot in a while about it (last time I checked there were a ton), I added the script anyway. I just copied+pasted Ex's greet message if the whisper contains any instance "hack" (includes "hacks") or "hax".

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
