When I don't wear glasses or contacts I wander around much the same way as I would in the dark or if my eyes were closed ... I use my hands and feet more to feel what is around me.

To respond to the original "does anyone else have this problem" question:
Everything is better in the dark. In the sunlight, my eyes are all watery and in extreme pain (closing them doesn't help since the light just passes through my eyelids) .. I can't even see well in the sunlight because everything is all white and washed out (I will sometimes even run into things). The only way I can prevent this is to always stare directly at the largest area of shadow I can while regularly closing my eyes (or wear as much sunglasses as possible). In my room I have to keep at most 1 lightbulb in the light since more than that is too bright. At night, my only problem with seeing is when lights are on. The little halos from by bad vision cover everything, they create too much contrast, and they hurt much like daylight. ;o I've even started driving away at midnight without realizing I hadn't turned my lights on because it is easier to see things.

So yeah, I don't know at all what you are talking about ... At all. :awesome:
Light is bad.
And yet you can manage staring at a computer screen for hours?

Maybe you'd like this? It's designed for saving energy, but you might like it for a different reason.

Woah

Apparently Blackle doesn't actually save energy unless you're still using a CRT monitor. For LCDs, there is no difference.

Monitors aren't bright ... Especially so since all the websites and stuff I do are darker colors. I'm talking more about like sunlight, headlights, or other high-powered light sources.

eye thread? eye thread.

For some reason my left eye twitches like crazy randomly sometimes. Why is that? I don't mean my eye ball, I mean to say my eye lid (I'm pretty sure at least). I don't want to make the connection just yet but I guess you could say it happens mostly when I'm looking at an electronic screen like my ipod touch or my monitor. wat do guise.

None.
