I already did. You replied by saying I didn't understand what you meant - I perfectly understood what you meant when I wrote my reply.

After reading my statment and your statment i retract what i said about half "fun" i understand now that they feel strange and i shouldn't have openly mocked them like this.

wth is starcraft

Quote from Lanthanide
I think a lot of people in this thread are getting their terminology mixed up.

Sex: genitalia you are born with, based on your genetics. Eg XY or XX (ignoring all the abnormalities like XXY etc)
Gender: your social identity, how you choose to express yourself. Usually this is based strongly around your sex, but it doesn't have to be.

See also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genderqueer

But I think that's worth something in itself - kids can't differentiate between sex and gender because we weren't conditioned to think of them as separate, and I would bet that many parents would be very confused still on how to explain the difference. A matter of better education? Definitely. But I must also wonder why the parents didn't see she's a she, and that her gender is unknown. It probably would've caused the same hoopla, and as you've stated, would deal more with their individual identity than their scientific identity.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
