Terraria soundtrack includes music from 1.1 as well.

Looks like they're adding pumps.

Not sure I'm keen on the exclusive content, though. Nothing a hacked inventory couldn't solve, but still...

Edit:

This sounds OP... though they did say the game would be harder this time. :wut:

Pumps are a great idea! Also NPC control, and some new NPCs I guess. Will play after or during exams or something.
Busy ~Dec12-15 though.

Pumps = 50x more creative stuff already.

Nov 22 2011, 12:45 am The Starport Post #565

I would trade all their new content for more robust+stable multiplayer and multiplayer options, though. Nothing in single player beats a proper team versus game.

There is a lot of potential here, but I'd rather have us on a single team instead of against each other.

Nov 22 2011, 3:42 am The Starport Post #567

How about a single team of ours versus a certain bunch of arrogant Europeans? :awesome:

The liquid should be completely redone and be more independant of the inefficient block system going on.

Personally, I think I will be starting all over and really go through the game gradually. Would be better with a friend, so maybe I'll find one on reddit since Samfag is a Samfag now. Everyone else here just wants to dig straight down and finish the game asap. :/

The last time they had a decent amount added and played with you all, the world was done in about 2 hours. Fuck that, I want to enjoy the games I play.

We will all start over, it's the rules. Also I don't ever dig straight down ASAP, I always progress at a pace slower than the rest of these guys, and then stop progressing when I feel like building something.

I think the actual problem is the terribly sad duration of time I am/was able to play vs someone who has a life, so it only appears as if I am progressing more quickly.

Well I am more so point at generally everyone excluding maybe SF, Tux and I never played with you Heinn. TiKels, Dem0n and company though: Straight down, no qualms or regrets.

I screw around a lot. :massimo:

... I can guarantee that I have not built a single structure.

I just watch them do shit. I have been using the same character since the game came out ;o

I could use a fresh start.

Edit: Actually I did drop about 30 things of TNT to help make heiner's mushroom cavern, but that's it.

Magic box god; Suck it Corbo

If you guys are starting fresh I guess it's a good time for me to join too. One of the reasons I never played with you guys was because you were all at end game items when I bought the game and I wanted to get them on my own

ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

By the time I get on (which is like five hours after the patch has come out), you guys have already torn apart half the world and upgraded up to like nightmare pickaxes and blue moons, while I'm just starting out with wooden weapons. :massimo:

No, by the time you get on we'll just have gone through hearts and stars, but not to the horseshoes, clovers, or blue moons yet.

There may be a couple more new guys joining us too.

Nov 29 2011, 2:10 am The Starport Post #580

I shall make another treasure hunt, and rig the entire world to be mass-griefed with wired traps if it isn't solved within a time limit. :massimo:

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[2026-7-16. : 6:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
[2026-7-15. : 4:10 am]
Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
