Keyboard, Gamepad.

Are you sure about that?

So, I have this game that does not allow mapping keyboard keys for player 2. It HAS to be a gamepad. However, p2 does not want to use a gamepad. He wants to use keyboard keys. I have 2 keyboards, so space and other things are not an issue: What I truly wish to do is to map gamepad buttons to keyboard keys, so that when I press my keyboard keys the game believes I am using the gamepad. Or to somehow fool my pc into thinking that one of my keyboards is a gamepad (which I think is not a possible option, but...) I know not how to do any of this, though. Could you help me out here with this?

You could try this http://www.racketboy.com/retro/2007/05/xpadder-use-your-pc-gamepad-instead-of-keyboard.html but instead of plugging in a gamepad, plug in a keyboard and when it says press Dpad up just press W or the up arrow on your keyboard, that sort of thing. If that doesn't work, there's more complicated stuff we can do like finding out what the gamepad stuff is set to and emulating that but it's more complicated and I'd probably have to write a tutorial for you :P

I already tried xpadder. Pressing keyboard keys does no good. The game is BlazBlue.

So I just found out xpadder 5.3 is free. This shit is much better than joy2key that I had been using...

Mind explaining what you did for future reference?

VJoy, it creates virtual joysticks with buttons you bind to keyboard keys.

Oh_Man -- No APM in chess. Computer just outthinks the human by seeing more moves ahead and more permutations

Oh_Man -- U reckon? Kasparov waa defeated by computer decades ago

NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface
[05:34 pm]
NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

Oops, caught me there, no I haven't. :( I was imagining how the game went. Sorry for that. Watching it now. brb

NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
