How do i make it so that every trip takes 1 sec instead of 5. Or how to make each trip return more than 5 minerals.

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

I'm not an expert on the Data Editor, but I believe you can accomplish what you want by two ways: modifying the mineral field behavior or modifying workers' "Gather" abilities.

Behavior - Mineral Field:
Stats - Harvest Amount (number of minerals returned per trip)
Stats - Harvest Time (time it takes to harvest)

Ability - Gather:
Stats - Resource Amount Multiplier (change the carried amount)
Stats - Resource Time Multiplier (change harvest time)

Hope this helps!

Do you know how to change the limit of the amount of workers that can mine from a geyser or mineral field? I know theres "Bypass resource Queue" but i dont want unlimited.

I'm not sure, but here's a couple of ideas you could try:

1. Give the mineral field multiple behaviors for harvesting.
2. Stack mineral fields on top of each other.

Ultraviolet -- just sent you a message on Discord. I suspect you're probably trying to change unit speeds for units that don't use flingy.dat for movement (like any units that walk instead of hovering/flying). You can change their movement to flingy, but they unfortunately look more like they're gliding than walking when you do that.

Symmetry -- EE2, I've been using setdatfile successfully for units.dat and weapons.dat but the flingy changes don't seem to happen

Ultraviolet -- in EE2 you just open DatEdit, go to the flingy tab, and make whatever changes you want. Though if you want to do dynamic shit, you have to use the trigger editor with the setdatfile action. And of course you have to inject your changes when done. Can give more specific troubleshooting advice if you provide more details
