It seems that whenever I try to download something, the internet freezes up and doesn't reposnd. A message pops up saying it stopped working. This happens whenever I try to download something. sc1 maps, sc2 maps, growler guncam (had but removed, getting again). No matter what it is, my internet still crashes. How do I fix this?

None.

So the browser crashed? Try using another browser like IE if your using something else already and try downloading with that.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

What you mean with "Internet" is probably your browser, the program that allows you to access (browse) the Internet.
What browser are you using? Reinstalling that browser might fix the issue.
Or just use another browser. Chrome and Firefox are recommended.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

ping the router

type windows key + r then enter
type "cmd" without quotes and press enter
type ping 192.168.1.1

If you don't get a response, type ipconfig
ping the "default gateway" instead.

If you get a response, try to download something, and see what happens to the router.

Thigh high affectionado

Upgrade to AOL 9.0 today.

But really, it could be a virus causing it. Open Task Manager and see if theres any programs that dont look like official windows stuff, or things youve installed. (Generally the description is what you're looking at, if its blank, chances are its a poorly coded virus with no thought into it.)

Oh_Man -- No APM in chess. Computer just outthinks the human by seeing more moves ahead and more permutations

Oh_Man -- U reckon? Kasparov waa defeated by computer decades ago
[05:47 pm]
NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface
[05:34 pm]
NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

Oh_Man shouted: NudeRaider did u watch the entire video? it's not one game. it's currently dominating the ladder at number 1 position. do ur research first!
Oops, caught me there, no I haven't. :( I was imagining how the game went. Sorry for that. Watching it now. brb

NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
