Four hundred bucks a month is beyond doable at part time.
I'm working at most 13 hours per week with minimum wage and I can get 400$ per month. >_>

I turn 18 on the 26th of December.
lol that sucks.

Anyways, the point when trying to get a job, is to look interested. The work you annoy the boss of the place, the more he'll remember about you. He really doesn't give a fuck about reading 100 CVs... Motivated people > Competent people when looking for small jobs.

13 hours a week? That hardly constitutes a job. Most hourly locations consider under 32 hours part time. Jobs I've held are between 20-30 hours a week.

(lowest I've seen)$8.25*20 = 165
165*4 = 660
660 * .75 (LUL taxes) = 495

(minimum wage)$7.25*20 = 145
145*4 = 580
580 * .75 = 435
I know minimum wage/taxes is different per state/territory. But it remains that 13 hours a week is more like a hobby, not a job. You only show up...what, like twice a week? Or maybe you get a bunch of princess shifts? :P

There's no reason you can't make it work. Assuming you're making 7.25 an hour after taxes, to get $500 a month you need to work 18 hours a week. That isn't hard. 8 hour days on the weekends plus an extra shift one day after school > 20 hours. It'll suck, but it isn't that bad. To get a job you need to look like your interested. Don't just apply online and wait for a call. Go in to the store/restaurant/whatever and actually talk to the manager and introduce yourself. It makes a good impression. You don't even have it that bad. I work with a guy who has 2 jobs and is a full time college student.

@Payne: If by capitalism you mean having to earn a living instead of being handed other people's money, then yes, MZ was screwed over.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
