I'm working on a Dragon related map in napoleons time based off of the Temeraire series. Why? Because it will most likely become a movie in '09 . It's just in planning right now as I don't have an editor for mac yet. This would be my first big map that I actually use.

Map terrain and look: The terrain would probably be the normal terrain and it would look like the English Channel.

Triggers: I'll make them as I go

Characters:

Temeraire
Mutalisk?

Lien?
Mutalisk?

French Navy
Air vehicles limited to where they can go.

English Navy
Air vehicles limited to where why can go

French Army
Terran ground units

English Army
Terran ground units

French Air Corps
Flying Zerg units

English Army
Flying Zerg units

This game seems even BUT the english will have A LOT more ships then the French navy BUT the French aerial corps will have about 50% more then what the English Aerial Corps has. Last the armys will be pretty even except the french army will have a little bit more troops.

How does the game sound so far? And any suggestions?

Just here for the pie

You didn't exactly tell us about the map. You just said what the units are, and what is it, just a huge army versus 2 mutalisks wit 9999 everything?

Thigh high affectionado

Interesting name, but hows it gonna fit on the map name without bnet saying the scenario name is too long? >:D

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

Don't touch the Mod CP.

But yeah, you didn't tell us anything about the map, and are we thinking of the same Napoleon? Last I checked, NO ONE had a flying corps in the 19th century.

Wizard Wusa, a little tip: it would be a little helpful to everyone and you would receive a lot more commentary if you were to supply us with more information. What exactly type of map will this be, human vs computer? Or just a LOTR type mass attack?

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
