For SC1 modding, I modeled these: http://www.staredit.net/topic/10544/ .

I'd like to see them in SC2. I doubt I could actually use the majority of the present models as they are, but regardless, I would like to see how the models appear in SC2. It would at the very least give me a better grip on how detailed SC2 models need to be and at the very very least make me feel cool or something or other.

I can export the Wings3D model files to several different formats, probably namely *.3DS. Anyone willing to do it for me/Teach me how to do it myself?

EDIT:

Disregard the fact that the majority lack skins unless they need skins to be seen at all. Or something.

You need to find someone with 3d studio max, at least until the blender script can export. Try ask Corbo or Iskatumesk, mesk is at CC and corbo's at mapster/MSN.

Red classic.

Ultraviolet -- just sent you a message on Discord. I suspect you're probably trying to change unit speeds for units that don't use flingy.dat for movement (like any units that walk instead of hovering/flying). You can change their movement to flingy, but they unfortunately look more like they're gliding than walking when you do that.

Symmetry -- EE2, I've been using setdatfile successfully for units.dat and weapons.dat but the flingy changes don't seem to happen

Ultraviolet -- in EE2 you just open DatEdit, go to the flingy tab, and make whatever changes you want. Though if you want to do dynamic shit, you have to use the trigger editor with the setdatfile action. And of course you have to inject your changes when done. Can give more specific troubleshooting advice if you provide more details
