she/her

I've briefly perused through the SC1 mods section of SEN's DLDB and I noticed that still only 86 out of the total of 104 items present were categorized into one of the sub-categories of Modification, GRP, or Experimental.

Assuming that no files have been added without the proper (and necessary) extra sub-category tag since I personally organized the majority of the 86 files into their respective sub-categories (which had not been done since the relatively recent DLDB re-organization), there are still 18 files left to be sub-categorized, which should all be locked files, IIRC (otherwise, I would have sorted them).

I just thought I'd bring this to the attention of the DLDB managers/mods/whoever-does-this; it seems like a quick job that can be done when one is bored, but since the DLDB re-organization, nothing has yet to be done about it still. :<

I'd do it myself, but I don't have permissions or anything...
Anyway, that's it for me. I'm going off to bed now.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
