I tried to find where to change startup parameters and ended up in a window with about 5 actions that are initially set by default, one of which sets startup (base + half a dozen SCV/Drone/probe), but when I double click or right click this startup action nothing happens I cant edit it from that window(so that all players start with ex: 2 scv). I guess thats not the place from which it can be edited.
1- I'll probably find it by searching further but if you remeber off hand where this melee player default unit/structure startup action can be edited let me know .
2- I noticed that when a computer player is attacked early on (when it only has SCV/probe/drone) it immediately GGs and asks to surrender, I would like to prevent this behavior. Any tip about where and how in the editor can be prevented would be appreciated.
3- General Question: Is getting an expansion a default automatic AI behavior or does the map maker need to set where the AI can setup an expo or place pointers for potential expo locations? (the test game I did it did not appear that the computer player created an expansion even when faced with low/depleted minerals)
thanks

As far as the number of drones you start with, you should be able to Edit it from Modules->Data->Races. You'll find under each race a section that says two create two set of units, one base, and six drones, all with point offsets. If you change the quantity of the one that says 6 for each race, it should take care of your problem. I'll edit this when I have access to an editor to give you the actual field names (I don't have it on my laptop >.<).
As far as the GG'ing computer, you may be ale to change it in the AI of the Data Editor. I haven't dug into that much, so I can't be of much help there, but maybe someone else could shed some light. Same goes for the expansion.
