I haven't tried, but it seems like you could go into the Actor, and modify the events so that on creation, along with adding the unit model, it adds the base model as well... that should attach it as part of the model, and then you don't have to worry about any buffs/behaviors, unless you want to be able to remove the base mid-game...

haha for sure. in some ways it's even more exciting because you can play EUD maps on regular battle.net, don't need to convince someone to download your mod to play with you. what did you do?
