I don't know your card, but once I tested SC2 using a GeForce 7050 and it lagged so bad (on lowest settings) that even the commands were delayed. I imagine that it would be as bad using a GeForce FX 6200 too.

Yeah, that's going to be onboard graphics, or even if it is a discrete card, the very worst discrete card you can get. No SC2 for you, at all.
I'm use an 8800 GTX with 768mb memory on 1920x1200 with everything on High (by default) except for textures because you need 1gb of graphics memory for Ultra. Everything is very smooth, haven't noticed any jerks at all.

I do not think that is good enough for starcraft2.
If you don't really have the cash but you have a pci-e slot, you can spring for like Radeon HD 4650 or maybe GeForce GT 240. They cost about 70 dollars.
I would just build a whole new computer seeing as the motherboard sounds like its pretty old.

NimoStar -- the thing with the "*12" thing is completely misleading. The AI isn't using two control groups, it can use each of those actions to command a single unit individually and issue different commands to each single unit.[08:06 am]
