Whenever I my headphones get unplugged and then plugged back in, the sound in some of my applications stops working and I have to restart them to get the sound back. Sometimes the sound devices thing stops working and freezes and I have to restart my laptop to get sound. And I think it also happens if I start my computer without the headphones plugged in and I try to plug them in after. How do I fix this?

Which applications? Is it always the same one? What operating system are you using?

Windows 7. StarCraft 2 and Heroes of Newerth are the ones I notice. I think it happens with Firefox too. Winamp usually works without having to restart it, however it also sometimes freezes when my whole sound devices thing gets messed up. When I try the troubleshooter thing it says there's nothing plugged in, even though it is.

It is likely that the headphones jack is set up as a different sound device. I'm not sure whether there is a way to change it without installing additional software, but there might be.

Ultraviolet -- That's strange, it looks like you targeted the base image file (sometimes people make the mistake of just using the imgur page link which doesn't work for embedding) but it still didn't work it sounds like.

ManCubuS -- I should try a workaround, thanks! Sadly imgur is blocked in my country for some unknown reason.

NudeRaider -- I think SEN has trouble with https or hotlinking is forbidden. It certainly is nothing about the size, it just fails to get any size. You can get it working if you use imgur and include the actual image link for the img tag. Like this: [img=https://i.imgur.com/ddYqXZa.jpeg]

ManCubuS -- Hey fellas! Anyone knows why when I try to upload an image it says "failed to get image size"? I even tried making it so small. Imgur isn't working here and I tried postimg no luck.
