Hear me Raor!!

I am seeing a lot of topics, where someone may be new/ or advanced asking a question.
Then we all just flame them, make them feel stupid, we all repeat what ever was said by the person above them ( Which is not needed because........... Yes it has already been said )
I just feel we had a weak transaction from sc > sc2 and being rude to people / new people is not going to make our community grow!!
I love Staredit I have been apart of it for a long time, I do not want to have to go to another site because the users here are being asses to everyone.
I think we need a wake-up call. We have to start actually being nice and helpful. ( Most topics have 4-6 flamers, and 1 helper) That's not going to work I can tell you that.
I don't know why there is so many negative comments / or post that tend to make the person asking the question dumb... If it makes you feel like a better map maker because you can make fun of someone. Well It does not, true map makers will help someone no matter what because that is what they love to do "Map "

" Or we can Die, and I will go over to sc2mapsters because they have it right ! "

" I was not sure where to put this, but feel free to move it. I just put it here because its about sc2. ( Mby the staredit forum lol )

If you see someone being an asshole, report it. Politeness is a must have on SEN and anyone who does not use it for whatever reason should get moderated. A lot of the moderators don't read a lot of the posts made in various forums, so it is your responsibility as a dedicated SEN member to bring the moderators' attention to bad posts.

If you want to make your point clearer please PM me the links to the specific posts you think are rude (revealing them publicly would be the wrong thing to do). For now, I see no point in keeping this topic open.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[2026-6-21. : 4:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new

Oh_Man -- makes me wonder if SEN knows anything about the topic
