I stopped watching television.

Hear me out on this one. I did not turn into one of those nonconformists that think they are better than televised media.

I simply had enough of my family constantly coming into my room to watch TV. I ended up getting a spare television, and put my cable box downstairs in the family-room/ grand room.

Needless to say, it did not work. Nearly two years later, my brother will still come in here, lay on my bed and bother me. Older brother, I might add.

Anyway, I used to be pretty loyal to Toonami when it was on the air (e.g. Dragon Ball/Z, Tenchi, Outlaw Star), but that was just me being an easily influenced little kid.

Occassionally watch the Simpsons if I notice it's time for it... I try to watch Mythbusters, but I never fail to forget.

I like science and science fiction.

Dexter (season 1 only) was very good. Generation Kill was an excellent character study, just like The Wire. I want to see Band of Brothers, reliable sources tell me it's very good.

Most shows you guys watch are disgustingly bad IMO.

If you have at least some affinity to SciFi you should watch Battlestar Galactica (the reimagined series). Or if you don't trust my judgment of your tastes, at least watch the pilot film. It gives a pretty good impression of what to expect both character-wise and story-wise.

This. Battlestar Galactica has to be my favorite series of all time.

I was pissed when they ended this as well. I mean when you get Silver Pictures, it produces hella results (Commando, Die hard, Lethal Weapon, Matrix, Sherlock Holmes to name a few), BUT NOOOOOOOO, writer strike omg omg omg omg omg omg omg. TV sux.

How could I forget my favorite canceled show, Portal?

Portal was a live-action/machinima comedy that ran on early G4, back when G4 was still something I enjoyed to watch.
After it concluded, I used to be a regular at sirdavesforums which is one of the reasons I started using the forums here on SEN. Back on v4, I never-ever used the forums.
Now look how much I troll!

I haven't watched DS9 in a long time.
