kellimus, is your sarcasm meter broken? Dr. Shotgun wasn't being serious.

Wow.

That's all I can say because just...... Wow.

I'm not as "stupid" as you try to imply. Good job though.

The California fires are tiny.
972.1 kmē = California Forest fire
45,700 kmē = Alaskan Forest fire
And ours don't even make news...
(California size from wikipedia, but alaskan one from old newspaper, because wikipedia doesn't even list alaskan forest fires...)

Quote from Sie_Sayoka
The point I was trying to make is that if the house fire is contained, should firefighters take the time to try and put it out to salvage whatever of the home is left and risk lives? or let it burn down and fight the main fires.

Also, if they should discriminate as to which residential areas they should protect better.

Dude, they should protect whatever is worth the most money.
Because of the Leftist propaganda people seem to think that people are important, but in reality there is an abundance of people - its qualified people and money that really matter.

I think people should be smart enough to know where they are putting their family. It's a natural cycle of the ecosystem that helps the area thrive.

Populations as high as they are shouldn't be living there.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
