Here are some of my attempts to blend jungle doodads to create some unique custom blends. Some of them are a bit blocky I'll admit. I dunno if some of these have been used before, probably have... But I'll keep makin' em if you guys think they're good ;D

here's a screenshot of a few of them

PyMS and ProTRG developer

wow those are some of the best custom doodads i've seen. Barely any blocks, gj.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Seriously awesome.
A guy recently showed me his work about custom jungle doodads too, it was quite the same. I wonder if you are him of could it be that you stole his map? No offence, I'm just wondering ;)

There isn't even grass in Jungle-tileset =D
I think he meant the grass in badlands, they got nice rock-doodads, think you could make a taller one?
Good Luck :)

This is great, Howler! It's hard to believe you only recently started terraining.

thanks payne :) but I don't see rock doodads going anywhere XD

also, I updated the original upload with some new stuff; tried to blend the dragon carcass in the top left corner better :(

nice doodads. I believe Falkoner's Terrain Compilation has some custom doodads as well, for jungle and badlands. I think you should check those out, it might give you some cool ideas.

Hello

Here and there a tad blocky but I must admit you are one of the best terrain newcomers I know.
Respect.

that makes me feel all warm inside :)

I've discovered that blocks are impossible to avoid unless you want really really basic custom blends... :(

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
[2026-7-15. : 4:10 am]
Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
