Batman begins with three uses of this ability and may use them as he chooses, with a maximum of two per night. If Batman successfully uncovers a mafia or the Joker, he gains two more chances to use his power for each such player uncovered. Batman has three regenerating night lives (i.e. requires three simultaneous hits to kill), but is vulnerable to the lynch and to other nighttime powers.

Escaped Mafia Member Found Deadby Jason WilliamsPolice found the body of
DeVouReR around five in the afternoon. Although no official reports have been released yet, sources say that a small group of angry Gotham citizens discovered Devourer hiding in an underground parking structure and carried him outside, where his head was bashed in with a sledgehammer. As the town continues to worry about the messy state of the mortuaries amid this crime spree, the dead body of another mafia at last is a heartening comfort.
The mangled body was discovered in a dumpster on 65th Street near the river. Police are debating whether to expend effort looking for the killers of a man who evaded their incarceration, but will likely not pursue the matter so long as there remain bigger criminals at large. Sources within the Gotham Police Department also report that preventing further murder by Batman is higher up on the department's priority list than protecting the rights of murdering mafia.
