Okay, the new mod has been going nuts on me, I've been fined 70 minerals and not really given any reasons, basically, I am assuming that most related to OS map as I find Staredit's policy on it ludicrous, but none of my posts went against that policy, other than one that had already been edited by IP, so my question is, what the heck is going on? I've heard other members getting fined for stupid reasons as well.

It doesn't really matter. No matter how much you're fined, once SEN is starting with mods and other stuff, we're ALL going to get set back to -100 minerals. So no need to complain really.

I know, but I don't want a mod making stupid judgements, like the ones posted above.

Shmidley likes to tease people with his power, and his ability to become logicless.
Plus, even though SEN is much more tolerant with OSMap now than before, it does NOT support it.
It may as well be against it. You are in no position to suggest such a thing as recommending OSMap.
This was how the mapping was for almost all the history of starcraft mapping. So it's not entirely his fault.

SeN only disagreed with posting links to OS Map, and you shouldn't be fined for recommending a program that can seriously help some of the newer mappers.

I do not care what sorts of programs you are talking about.

You made a post that seemed to me, may lead to map corruption. Upon scrolling down, the person you were helping explicitly stated that your advice had corrupted their map. Don't do that.

Also, please don't think I'm singling you out on purpose. I deleted many posts by other people. I intend to keep the Assistance Forum squeaky clean.

With that logic, posting a link to Starforge is just as bad. Starforge has a tendency to corrupt maps.

Also, tell me why you deleted my post in this topic http://www.staredit.net/?topic=521. The post was providing useful information.

Everything corrupted their map, I specifically told them to make a backup before using anything.

I would withdraw if I were you Falk, as SCMDraft 2 is currently, 1200% better than Starforge in every aspect.
What you suggested, to Shmidley (StarForge) was a inferior suggestion in every aspects.
Now I can infer that Shmidley does not want outdated suggestions being posted on assistance.

Hey Shmidley, your buddy BeDazed's sig is 240KB over the limit. Do something, oh superior moderator.

Also, I was the one stating something about starforge, not falk.

What's your excuse for deleting my posts? I was talking about ways in order to cross information through a briefing or tutorial to other people, what is the possibility of corruption there... I hate this new mod already.

Esponeo has removed a lot of garbage from the assistance forums. I checked a lot of posts.
Only post if you know what the hell you are talking about. Don't be vague... or take a random stab at a solution. Be concise about the solution and you probably won't occur any more wrath from Esponeo.

Falk, seeing as you are the topic creator and main poster in this topic, I'll issue a direct statement to you: You do tend to make a lot of useless posts.

Merrell, that last post was over the line.

Any posts that he deletes, talk to him about and see why he did it. If you don't agree, come to me or moose. Soon I'll give you better notices and write myself better tools for looking this stuff up.

Not in UMS Assistance, and allowing us to be fined by an idiotic moderator just because he is narrow minded and can't see how OS map can be used for good, is just wrong to me. I'm done with SeN, there have been too many stupid policies coming up, and having to take crap from a power mad moderator is the last straw.

LW put out OS Map so that people could USE it, and still holding it back, even after it has already been released and the damage done, is the most retarded idea I have ever heard. Bye SeN, I'll miss you, but I won't miss your policy.

To prove Esponeo is a power grabbing whore he sent me this log:

[19:02] Esponeo : Also I'm going to be trying to get you fired.
[19:02] Esponeo: Every day.
[19:02] Esponeo: Until you are.
[19:02] Me: why
[19:02] Esponeo: Because I don't respect you.
[19:02] Esponeo: At all.

Demod is imminent.

I would suggest, in the future, if you ever decide to suggest the use of any program that may corrupt someone's map that you put some kind of disclaimer telling them that it is a possibility.

I don't think this applies in this specific case, but I cannot precisely recall the problem post that Falkoner made.

I agree, Shmidley is a good mod.

Also, Falkoner that screenshot in your first post tells me nothing. For all I know it could have been 4 spam messages that were deleted. Without such information I cannot pass judgement on Shmidley's actions. However, I'm sure he had a good reason to do it, because he's Shmidley.
