Sorry if this has been brought up before but
Last night I was working with SCM Draft 2.0 and all of a sudden when I tried to save a map, it gives me a message saying "Something bad has happened, would you like to save a diagnostic file?"
It keeps happening everything. I can still work around it though (like opening scmdraft again without closing the previous one) but is there any way to get rid of this?
None.
In a 'ScumEdit & Starcraft II' forum?
That always happen to me, I just ignore it. If you save it and it pops up, then it shouldn't be a problem since it saved properly. The error is like, asking you to quit for no reason but it inflicts no damage whatsoever.

Ask suicidal insanity to fix that problem...
None.
If you clear your backup database it goes away for some reason. I think it happens when you have to many saved backup files.
None.

If you still cant get it to work try SI on aim (SuicidalInsanit) or email Suicidal_Insanity@stormcoast-fortress.net.

Can you send me a copy of the map?
None.
*Watches LW Hex the map to death*
None.

Let me show you how to hump without making love.
As listed above, three solutions can easily fix this issue:
1. When the pop-up appears, just ignore it. SCMDraft still works even with that alert open.
2. Clear Back-Up file, mine was at 1.2g at one point.
3. Hump SI's leg.
None.
Used to happen to me, but I deleted the backup thing and it worked.
None.
LW, it happened no matter which map i open and save.
But i fixed it now; I just deleted everything SCM Draft related and redownloaded it from our database
(although i probably could've just deleted the backup or w/e

. Apparently my backup file has gotten to be over 2 gigs in size =-O)

I tried to reinstall this program again, again, and again. When I got to reinstall the Scmdraft 2 to save some files, and then a fucking error popped out. Sorry, for the excuse word but this scmdraft had gone out of control. I already deleted the backup, the Scm junkies, and reboot it again. Still, it gets even WORSE ALL THE TIME. ARGHHHHH

, it make me crazy. So, can you tell how to fix this error because I want to make an campaign. I am starting to lose it
None.
heh, i live with that error and i don't lose any progress as long as i save after the message pops up. just ignore it.
i think the problem appears when you start placing installation door doodads
This reminds me. One time a particular map would crash very often in SCMD2. Turns out it was a piece of terrain. Maybe there was a particular doodad, maybe not, I can't remember. Once I modified this terrain (I painted over it with dirt, it was Jungle terrain) everything was fine.
SCMD2 is buggy and we just have to deal with it best we can.

doesn't JJ's addon help fix errors like this?
CHKdraft.
CHKdraft isn't an addon, it's a different program.
None.
It's also not as complete as SCMDraft, so we have to wait until good ol' JJ revolutionises mapmaking for us.

true, but what I meant was it fixes alot of these issues that SCMD2 has, and while you are using SCMD2 you can use JJ's CHKDraft to edit your maps in sections where normally would crash scmd2.
