Relatively ancient and inactive

It looks nice, but I dislike the iPhone OS, dislike how popular iPhones are, and am waiting for Windows Phone 7, which looks far better. Apart from the app department but, may that catch up.

Jobs' presentation was really nice, though, and makes me love the hardware. I preferred the new look when it first leaked, too.

Woah

I have a first gen iPhone and have been really considering getting a new iPhone or switching to a DROID. My current phone freezes constantly, has a ton of dead pixels, and (thanks to AT&T) has crappy reception. On the one hand, I already have a ton of iPhone apps and don't feel like re-buying stuff for DROID. On the other hand, AT&T sucks ass.

What a dilemma.

Get droid. Many droid apps are free, so you can replace (probably) several of the equivalent iphone apps. Plus you can use modern droid phones with your household wireless router (assuming you have one) which fixes the problem of bad reception when you're at home, and doesn't use up your data plan.

Red classic.

Devlin, I'd wait for Windows Phone 7 to come out before deciding. It'll be a bit underpowered at first, but if they base it properly off of Zune it'll have an epic interface, and it should eventually (pretty soon for the basics) have its own good app ecosystem. The minimum requirements for the hardware are pretty stringent (HTC HD2-like), so... yeah. I'm definitely waiting a few more months until it comes out to get a new phone. Wait until there are a few WP7 models and compare the reviews with Android ones, that's my plan. Currently using a crappy LG Vu. :(

Ultraviolet -- Me too. The general concept is exciting and fun to play, or at least I enjoyed it in the previous Diplo Europe iteration.

Excalibur -- I have no idea if Clans will finish his map but I hope so.

Excalibur -- Sie is really really good and I'm glad Clans had them do the terrain for the new map. I feel like not enough of Sie's stuff will ever get used on a finished map.

lil-Inferno -- doing terrain was fun but also annoying

l)ark_ssj9kevin -- I preferred the terrain and unit placing. And of course making the unit names have cool colors.

NudeRaider -- http://staredit.net/381116/ it's funny, to me writing triggers was always the core of the (UMS) map making process and what actually made it fun to me. Creating terrain the least favorite part and thus I kept it pretty functional.
